INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES
Due to the entry into force of the modification of the “Information Society Services Law” (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user for all websites that use non-essential cookies before the user browses them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.
By using these devices, the web server can remember certain data about the user, such as their preferences for viewing pages on that server, username and password, products of greatest interest, etc.
COOKIES AFFECTED BY REGULATIONS AND EXEMPT COOKIES
According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed user consent are analytical cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or for providing services expressly requested by the user are exempt.
WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES EXIST?
Regarding the types of cookies, there are five main groups:
- Analytical cookies: collect information about how the website is used.
- Social cookies: those necessary for external social networks.
- Affiliate cookies: allow tracking of visits from other websites with which the website has an affiliate agreement (affiliate companies).
- Advertising and behavioral cookies: collect information about user preferences and personal choices (retargeting).
- Technical and functional cookies: strictly necessary for the use of the website and for the provision of the contracted service.
COOKIES USED ON THIS WEBSITE
- PHPSESSID: technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session identifier. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _lang: technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the session language. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _ac_cookies: technical and strictly necessary cookie containing the value indicating whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. It expires 1 year after the last update.
- _ga: Google Analytics cookie that enables the unique visit tracking function. The first time a user enters the website through a browser this cookie will be installed. When the user returns to the website using the same browser, the cookie considers it the same user. Only if the user changes browser will it be considered a different user. It expires 2 years after the last update.
- _gat: this cookie is associated with Google Analytics Universal. It is used to limit request rate – limiting data collection on high traffic sites. It expires after 10 minutes.
- _utma: Google Analytics cookie that records the date of the first and last time the user visited the website. It expires 2 years after the last update.
- _utmb: Google Analytics cookie that records the time of arrival on the website. It expires 30 minutes after the last update.
- _utmc: Google Analytics cookie used for compatibility with the urchin.js tracking code. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _utmt: Google Analytics cookie used to process the type of request requested by the user. It expires at the end of the session.
- _utmv: Google Analytics cookie used to segment demographic data. It expires at the end of the session.
- _utmz: Google Analytics cookie that stores the traffic source or campaign explaining how the user reached the website. It expires 6 months after the last update.

HOW TO DELETE COOKIES FROM YOUR BROWSER
Chrome 1.
Select the “Tools” icon.
- Click on “Settings”.
- Click on “Show Advanced Settings”.
- In the “Privacy” section click on “Content settings”.
- Delete cookies: click on “All cookies and site data…”.
- Do not allow cookies to be stored.
- Click on “Clear browsing data” (clear cache).
- Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer. Version 11
- Select “Tools” | “Internet Options”.
- Click the “General” tab.
- In the “Browsing history” section click “Delete browsing history on exit”.
- Select “Delete files”.
- Select “Delete cookies”.
- Click “Delete”.
- Click “OK”.
- Close and restart the browser.

- Select “Firefox” | “History” | “Clear recent history”.
- Next to “Details”, click the down arrow.
- Select the following checkboxes: cookies, cache, active logins.
- Using the “Time range to clear” dropdown menu, select “Everything”.
- Click “Clear now”.
- Close and restart the browser.
You can accept or reject cookies individually in “Firefox Preferences”, in the “History” section available under “Tools” > “Options” > “Privacy”.

- Select the “Safari / Edit” icon | “Reset Safari”.
