Synopsis

An encounter with contemporary dance in its most vibrant state, featuring short pieces that may take the form of solos, duets, or small excerpts by guest artists. Each proposal is created in real time, where the body becomes thought in motion and every decision is immediate and unrepeatable. The evening brings together internationally renowned artists whose careers are marked by a strong stage identity and a profound exploration of movement. Kristina Alleyne and Chaz Buzan, step into the performance space without pre-set choreography, creating unique solos that emerge from the relationship between body, time, and presence. Each improvisation is an ephemeral event, impossible to reproduce, inviting the audience to witness creation in its most honest and direct form.

Yunta is a contemporary dance work by Yasser D’Oquendo and Jorge Ramírez Guerra that explores friendship, equality, and interdependence. Inspired by the meaning of the word yunta in Cuba and the image of a yoke of oxen, the piece transforms the yoke into a symbol of trust, care, and mutual support. Through movement and the constant relationship between the two performers, it offers a reflection on cooperation, difference, and the ability to build together.
