About Vertebra Dansa
The Vertebra Dansa Festival arrives in Tortosa as the natural continuation of the prestigious Deltebre Dansa, a national and international benchmark that for more than twenty years has placed contemporary dance and circus at the center of artistic creation and pedagogical innovation. Vertebra Dansa preserves this essence and trajectory, consolidated over more than two decades.
Driven by the Association Friends of the Performing Arts of the Ebro Lands and the company of choreographer Roberto Olivan, the festival brings together each year artists, students, and audiences from around the world in a cutting-edge, multicultural space of the highest artistic quality. It is a meeting point, a creative laboratory, and a living community, where emerging talent engages in dialogue with established trajectories.
The festival offers high-level multidisciplinary training for professionals in contemporary dance and circus with international faculty, while also opening its doors to non-professionals who wish to discover the performing arts. With an artistic program of innovative performances and a strong commitment to the territory, Vertebra Dansa continues to position itself as an international reference for new trends in the performing arts.
